 I'm pleased to announce that on the 18th march Save Valley dog section, consisting of Extremus k9's Rogue and Polaris, intercepted and stopped a potential rhino poaching gang on the conservancy. Three men were spotted on the conservancy in the early evening with rifles & backpack, at this point the tracker team led by Polaris and Samuel was deployed. He tracked them for approximately one hour and made sufficient ground that the poachers saw the dog team, panicked and dropped their equipment including heavy calibre ammunition. They then headed for a rocky outcrop and high ground to make their escape and at this point the track was called off due to failing light. A successful interception and recovery of equipment by a dedicated anti poaching unit. The dogs are one part of this and congratulations goes out to all concerned in the operation.
 West Yorkshire, Cumbria and Thames Valley / Hampshire Police Dog Sections have now selected their new future Police Dogs, from our recent Indi x Rage Dutch Shepherd litter. I can honestly say this is our best litter to date, the consistency, confidence and genetic capabilities matched with our foundation programme has produced very well indeed, I look forward to seeing how these dogs develop in their new roles.
